There are a number of ways to get to Balneário Camboriú. Mostly you’ll need to be in a combination of these options to get to the city. Don’t worry though your trip will definitely be worth it.
By plane
As the city of Camboriú doesn’t have an airport of its own, you would need to go through neighboring cities’ airport to get to there. The nearest one that you can access is the Ministro Victor Konder which can be found in Navegantes City. This is found 30km from the Balneário Camboriú and is just a 20-minute ride. This airport takes flights from Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Florianópolis, Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Porto Alegre, and Ribeirão Preto.
Another option you can take is taking a flight to the Hercílio Luz International Airport. This is located in the state capital of Florianopolis.
By bus
Catarinense Pluma, and Itapemirim. These are among the many bus lines that run operations in Balneário Camboriú. They go from the city of Camboriú to other Brazilian cities, which include cities in the state of Santa Catarina and cities of other state capitals. You will be stopping at the Estação Rodoviária station in Balneário Camboriú and this is also where you will need to go for a trip outside of the city.
By taxi or car
There are a lot of taxis available that can take you anywhere in the city. From the airport, this is also one option you can use to take you to the city. If you want to drive at your own pace though, you may also rent a car and be your own driver. You can get to the city of Camboriú by using BR-101. This road is along the city’s margins and what’s great about it is that is has widened and is in excellent condition. The safety standard in the area is also very high so you will have a worry-free trip by car.
