Laranjeiras Beach

This beach is the closest to the downtown area of Balneário Camboriú and it is popular among water sports enthusiasts. The Laranjeiras Beach has crystal clear waters that are calm and it shoreline stretches 750 meters long. What’s great about the beach is that it’s just not about sand and water. It also has bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the sea breeze. Aside from these, an archaeological site can be found in the area. It has fossils that date from three thousand years ago.

Taquarinhas Beach

This beach is known as the paradise beach because no construction has been made on its pristine sand. There are rumors that a big company is set to change the image of this beach but as of the moment, you can enjoy the pureness and tranquillity of the place along with its coarse sand and clean waters. It is located 7 kilometers south of the city of Camboriú. This place is also a good place for drift-net fishing.

Taquaras Beach

The Taquaras beach is a beach that is a bit similar to Taquarinhas. No major constructions have been made on the area except for a few summer residences and a small village can be found nearby. It is bigger than the Taquarinhas beach though but has the same pristine quality. It also has coarse sand and has calm waters that are deep. This place is good for spin fishing. If you find yourself doing this, you will find a small fishing colony in the place.

Praia Central

This is perhaps the most popular among the batch. At Praia Central or Central Beach, you will find a lot of restaurants, bars, and discos. This is also the meeting place for surfers and it is known to have a vibrant nightlife. It is 6.8 km long and has calm waters.

Praia do Pinho

Praia do Pinho is another beach where you can find restaurants and bars. But what makes this beach popular is it being a nude beach. It is the most famous nude beach in the entire Brazilian coast. The place is surrounded by rich vegetation and it is very well guarded.
